i paint to get the pain and anger out of me. i sing to pretend i'm not me, even for just a moment. i write to get the ideas out of my head, to where others can either enjoy or be thrilled by them.
i walk with a cane or use a wheelchair or wear braces on my knees to keep me upright, but those are just on the outside. i'm trying desperately to remember that.i've come home to philly for good, on my terms.
