i paint to get the pain and anger out of me, but also to recreate something I dreamt or heard. i sing to pretend i'm not me, even for just a moment. i write to get the ideas out of my head, to where others can either enjoy or be thrilled by them.
i walk with a cane or use a wheelchair or wear braces on my knees to keep me upright, but those are just on the outside. the rest of my insides are fighting daily to beat me, but i'm stronger than any physical disorder. i'm trying desperately to remember that.my life has gone from one long nightmare into the most wonderful dream. i'm succeeding in trying to find my inner Ferris Bueller on days when I'm all Cameron Frye.
